This question is important because I live in multicultural society and my family comes from different cultural and faith backgrounds. I am forced to negotiate cultural and faith differences on an everyday basis. I was raised a practicing Catholic and I became a practicing Buddhist and married a person of no faith from a different cultural background. This is a question that applies not only to my own experience but also across the world.
